Seven years ago literary editor Pearfan received a submission called \u201cDogs\u201d, a novel full of brutal sadism and dislike of men. The work was not published because it was criticized as \"heavy-handed and demeaning to men\", and the author disappeared from the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seven years later, Pearfan receives a second submission from the same mysterious writer from that year. The story begins with the reunion of two old friends from their student days, and the two, who have different standpoints, diverge in their conversations, and their murderous intent grows stronger and stronger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the plot moves on Pearfan is surprised to see his own shadow in the novel's protagonist, and even more frighteningly, the novel seems to be inextricably linked to the violent \"Raising Dogs\" of seven years ago ......<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A consistently confusing and heavy feeling, a fictional novel, as a work within a work, forms the beginning of the story. It also breeds a humongous power; the reader cares about how the story will play out in the future and can't help but read on. The novel contains elements of sexism, gender disparity, and misogyny, and is not at all a story that unfolds in a way that can be imagined by reading the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A reading experience that feels like the mind is completely captivated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After reading a sample of the beginning of the article posted by Sturm und Drang at the bookstore, I bought it because I cared so much. The work has a greater weight of Sakunosaku than I expected, and is wonderfully synchronized with the main character's life, with a sense of presence that seems to be covered by the end, a dreamy, somewhat chaotic feeling. It's an incredible feeling that I hope other readers will be sure to experience as well. I don't think anyone's life is without regrets or confusion, and there are past choices that make you want to blame is whose fault it really is. I hope more people realize that they can take the reins of their own lives, even if they can't quite undo it now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have read three novels written by Mr. Ye Jin Nakahyun in the past, and I was surprised that they felt different from before, but I sincerely felt that it was good to read them. Depending on the age and experience of the readers, there may be difficult to understand, but at least for the \u201cwomen who are spending the afternoon\u201d, there is a sense of urgency that makes you cry. I was one of them. A certain complicity with Tae and Rifan consumed me and saved me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
